Balancing Animals

Our companions give so much to us. Just like us, they too are exposed to stress in their environment that they live in. When Reiki is used with animals it helps to maintain their health. Reiki also provides a balance of the emotional state of relaxation and enables the animal to have a sense of peace and contentment.

Balancing treatments are beneficial to all animals domestic or wild. Most animals fall asleep during their session because trust is not an issue with them. Animals simply know this energy is good for them. The older the animal, the more they seem to appreciate healing energy. Animals are subject to all the imbalances that humans do and respond well to treatment. For animals that do not like to be touched or handled, balancing can be carried out from a distance whether a few feet away or across the room and even distant miles. Treatments from a distance are equally effective either by the hands-on method or distance.

Animals prove that healing is not dependent on any belief system. They live in the NOW, in a state of what we could call pure perfect consciousness. Animals make no judgment about the outcome of their treatment. They accept the Energy of Reiki and “T Touch” with gratitude and love.

With a sick animal, Reiki and Therapeutic Touch is a wonderful healing method as it complements other modalities such as Homeopathy, Flower Essences, Chinese Medicine and all other forms of allopathic and holistic healing. It has also been shown that energy balancing can reduce the side effects of chemotherapy.

For a dying animal, Reiki can provide ease of pain, anxiety and fear, thus helping to ease the transition through the process of death. The family of the animal can greatly benefit if treatment is given in conjunction with their animal.
